Background
For more than twenty years, Emanuel Overmars has built, led and transformed companies in the IT industry. He started his first company at the age of 18 and has since worked as an owner and as CEO, COO and CTO.
He built his early career in the Netherlands. In 2006 he moved to Southeast Asia, where he became a major shareholder and executive in several multinational companies in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Hong Kong. These companies served clients around the world, typically with teams of more than 200 people.
His strength is the bigger picture: taking companies that underperform and making them profitable. That means restructuring operations, sharpening the marketing strategy, rethinking how products are launched and positioning the business for sustainable growth.
Today he works under his own name as Emanuel Overmars Business & IT Consulting, from Cyprus: as an adviser, or as an interim executive for organisations that want real, lasting results.
